What are aluminium coils?

Aluminium coils are large rolls of aluminium sheet, generally used for stamping and blanking. Typical uses include aluminium cans, car body panels and blanks for household goods such as pots and pans.

Size and temper

• Width: 30 - 1850 mm.
• Thickness: 0.1 - 100 mm.
• Temper: all tempers.
• Coil internal diameter: 405 mm, 505 mm or 605 mm.

Surface finish options

Coils can be supplied with a range of surface finishes to suit your application, including PVDF or PE coating.

• PVDF: finish guaranteed for 20 - 25 years.
• PE: finish guaranteed for 10 - 15 years.
• Colours: any colour, normally referenced to the RAL colour book or a customer sample.

Ordering

• Weight per package: 500 - 3,000 kg.
• Protection: wrapped in clear or blue PVC before shipping to protect the surface.
• Delivery: 30 days from payment.
• Minimum order quantity: 5 metric tonnes.
